چکیده

In designing amine-incorporated adsorbents for CO2/CH4 separation, it is essential to understand the individual effects amine moieties have on separation of mixtures. this work, primary, secondary, and tertiary amines are moderately grafted SBA-15 examine factors affecting adsorption CO2 CH4. Materials were characterised by thermogravimetric elemental analysis, their performance was measured volumetric gravimetric gas adsorption. An density 1.6–1.7 mmol/g in secondary showed an equivalent CH4 uptake <0.04 at 25 °C, while primary adsorbed 0.05 mmol/g, indicating stronger interaction forces with terms selectivity, 1.3–1.4 had similar values, unaffected type. Adsorption results cross analysed DFT simulations indicate binding energies both moieties, concluding facilitated access molecules factor dictating degree At ? 1.7 amines, increase temperature from 40 °C a partial pressure kPa decrease selectivity only amines. Secondary thus more selective these conditions. Furthermore, isothermal adsorption–desorption conditions, equal working capacity Both qualities support moderate densities as candidates adsorbent development separations.

Equilibrium and Transport Properties of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Amines by Molecular Simulation

Equilibrium and Transport Properties of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Amines by Molecular Simulation — Using molecular simulation techniques such as Monte-Carlo (MC) and molecular dynamics (MD), we present several simulation results of thermodynamic and transport properties for primary, secondary and tertiary amines. These calculations are based on a recently proposed force field for amines t...

Efficient metal-free hydrosilylation of tertiary, secondary and primary amides to amines.

Hydrosilylation of secondary and tertiary amides to amines is described using catalytic amounts of B(C6F5)3. The organic catalyst enables the reduction of amides with cost-efficient, non-toxic and air stable PMHS and TMDS hydrosilanes. The methodology was successfully extended to the more challenging reduction of primary amides.

Optimization of normal-phase chromatographic separation of compounds with primary, secondary and tertiary amino groups.

The retention behavior of primary, secondary and tertiary amines was studied using normal-phase-HPLC on silica, diol, and cyano stationary phases. Several classes of amines, including benzylamines, anilines, ephedrines, tryptamines, and azatryptamines were chromatographed using mixtures of hexane and ethoxynonafluorobutane with methylene chloride and methanol. Peak tailing, diminished selectivi...
